Choir – The choir sings at area schools and churches throughout the year, including special concerts at Christmas and springtime.  The large Choir has over 50 members as well as a select choir.  

Band – The band performs at area schools and churches throughout the year, including Christmas and spring time concerts.  

Varsity and Junior Varsity Sports – The boys' and girls' basketball teams display true team spirit and witness to other Christian school’s in our local league.   CTA also offers baseball, softball, and flag football.  The only overnight trips for our sport teams would be the Tournaments at the end of the season.  See Athletics

Gymnastics Team – Our gymnastics team performs at the different schools in the Southwestern Union and in the fall participates in ‘Acrofest.’  They also perform here locally a couple times a year ending with the Homeshow Event in the spring.  See Athletics

Senior Retreat – Each fall the senior class goes on a retreat to Brownwood, Texas.  

It is a time for setting goals, getting acquainted with each other, spiritual renewal and fun.  

Skiing – In February CTA has a tradition that they take a trip to Colorado to snow ski/board for a week.  The Ski Trip enables students to really get to know the faculty and each other.  This is a time to create lifetime friendships and gain memorable experiences for years to come.  

Mexico Mission Trip – During our Spring Break a group of staff and students go down to Mexico to help build churches and have Vacation Bible School for the young children in the community.  

The Mission Trip meets the 100 hour outreach requirement for graduation.  

Student Association – CTA has a very active Student Association.  They sponsor two banquets a year, one at Christmas and one in May.  They have the traditional handshake the first night before school starts, a barn party in the fall and a Valentine’s party in February. Throughout the year they sponsor other various activities and school spirit days.  

Week of Prayer – Twice a year students engage in Week of Prayer where speakers come in to impact their lives and to gain a spiritual blessing. The students also lead out each year in Week of Prayer at CTA, KAES and at JAMS.  

Conference Activities – CTA participates in all conference activities like Freshman Bible Conference, Leadership Camp, College Days, Music Festival, and others.  

Senior Class Trip – Each year the senior class decides on a week long trip in the spring of their senior year.  They raise funds each year to plan for their class trip. Each year varies ranging from Disney World in Florida to house boats along Lake Powell in Utah.
